Slow Food is a non-profit member supported International movement, founded in 1989 to counter the rise of fast food and fast life, the disappearance of local food traditions and people's dwindling interest in the food they eat, where it comes from, how it tastes and how our food choices affect the rest of the world. |
Greetings!
We wish to thank everybody who made our annual "Good Food, Good Beer, and the Rest is History" event a success. We especially want to thank our partners that include Feast Your Eyes Catering, Healthy Bites ToGo Catering, Philadelphia Brewing Company, Stoudt's Brewing, Victory Brewing, Earth Bread & Brewery, The Restaurant School, Philly Compost, Countrytime Farm, and especially our partners Farm to City. We hope you had a great time and enjoyed the feast, found the food demos interesting, and enjoyed our entertainment finale by the Blue Corn Alianza Aztec dancers. |
