Many thanks to Megan Yunn, founder of area non-profit Beverly's Birthdays, who dropped off a number of "Cheer Bins" for children having birthdays in Avis Arbor this month. The bins were filled with colorful birthday presents. Megan also dropped off  several of her "Birthday-in-a-Bag" gifts--be--ribboned bags filled with cake mix, frosting, candles, paper plates, decorations, and all the ingredients for a wonderful child's birthday party.
We feel very fortunate to be on the list of 22 agencies that Beverly's Birthdays assists each month. Megan, you're the best!

First United Methodist Gives!

 A hearty "thank you!" to the members of the First United Methodist
Church in Monongahela for their regular monthly donations of clothing, canned goods and other items needed by the Mission. Here, congregation member Mona Rae Williams shows the almost-empty trunk of her car, which a moment before was filled with church-donated items that she brought to the City Mission Donation Center.
