Summer Reading Club ends August 1.
Sign up for our "Build a Better World" summer reading club. Each time you finish a book and log it online, ask for a prize entry slip to enter in the drawing of your choice. There are eight choices in all.

The prizes are gift cards valued from $25 to $50, including Walmart cards.

Enter as often as you finish reading or listening to a book. August 1 is the last day.

Living History: Fur Trader

This living history event, performed in authentic period clothing in the first-person style, takes the audience on a journey from Montreal to Indian country during a year in the mid-1700s fur trade.

Stonerock's research and attention to detail make his perfomances as laudable as they are entertaining.
Gordon Bonham: Blues Melange

Bonham brings together a mix of blues from the Mississippi Delta to the back alleys of Chicago to the West Coast. David Murray accompanies on bass. Hear blues expressions that distinguish regions across the US.

Locally, Bonham was a founding member of the Cooler Kings, followed by the Gordon Bonham Blues Band. He continues to host the blues jam at the Slippery Noodle in Indy.
Michael Kelsey Percussion Guitar

Two gifted musicians, Michael Kelsey and Michael Beck, blend their unique styles into one great night of entertainment.

Kelsey brings a free-flowing improvisational style to the guitar that involves every inch of his instrumentThroughout his performances, he makes use of technology, improv skills, objects in the room, and audience interaction.

Beck, a library favorite, accompanies on percussion.
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

Fascinating history, from professional Beatles scholar Aaron Krerowicz, reveals  how the songs on this landmark album developed. He uses clips of discarded takes and interviews with John, Paul, George and Ringo.
