June Chamber Meeting Guest Presenter
Timothy McCutcheon, Account Executive with NBC Montana, joined the June Chamber meeting to discuss television advertising opportunities with NBC. Timothy provided customized advertising packets in which multiple businesses can partner together in order to lower costs. For example, three merchants can purchase one ad in which all three businesses along with the community in general are advertised. This allows businesses to split the cost while still receiving a quality ad.

If you are interested in partnering with a neighboring business to purchase an ad with NBC please contact The Chamber for more information.
Spring Clean Up at the VIC
A huge thank you to Greg DeBoer and Paula Hudson for helping to spruce up the Visitor Information Center. Hours of chainsawing dead branches and pulling weeds resulted in the most beautiful VIC around and a lot of ice cream eating.
Business Tip of The Month
Network, network and network some more. Why? Because it's free and endless. Networking with business owners and community members increases exposure of your business which can lead to traffic into your business. The more people that know about your business, the more people referring your business.

How often do you ask a friend or family member who they recommend for a hair cut or where they recommend eating? Word-of-mouth advertising is free and more importantly trustworthy. The two best ways to get word-of-mouth advertising are to 1. provide good quality that results in happy customers and 2. network with fellow business owners and community members.
