Border Monitoring Program Expands

This Summer, Become An Instrument Of Freedom.
We have 2 years to bring education and outreach to villages and girls, reaching as many as possible before traffickers attempt to lure them into slavery.
The primary purpose of this new office is education and outreach to the entire Rasuwa District concerning the dangers of human trafficking before a new six-lane highway is complete in two years. Education, awareness, and outreach now to this district will bring new awareness will equip them to recognize traffickers' tactics, helping to prevent traffickers from so easily luring girls with false promises of jobs and marriages.
In two years, this office will be transformed to a fully functioning border monitoring station. Consider that our two existing border monitoring stations (Krishnanagar & Kodari) have only one lane for traffic to cross, but at this new location, there will be SIX LANES! Think of the opportunity this gives traffickers and how important it is for this community to be ready!
Education now can equal thousands of lives later!
Traffickers understand what this new 6 lane highway will mean and the opportunity it will give them to traffick girls across this new border.
To date, we have raised $1,059
toward this project, which means we only need $7,941
more to cover an entire year's budget.
By acting now, we can ensure her future does not include being trafficked.

Stitch Your Hearts Together Campaign
Free for Life is on track to provide scholarships to approximately 75 girls for tailoring classes beginning this summer. Tailoring classes will launch at each of our partner border stations (Krishnanagar and Kodari), as well as our new partner border office (Rasuwa District), teaching the skill of tailoring to 20 - 25 girls per class.
Free for Life is wanting to give each girl that graduates these tailor classes her own sewing machine as a graduation gift. We are asking our partners to consider giving toward this campaign, called Stitch Your Hearts Together.
It takes only $100 to buy a new sewing machine for one girl! You can donate in whole or in part. Make a difference in the life of young woman like Lilly, who was rescued at our border monitoring station at Krishnanagar and taught the skill of tailoring by PRC, went back to her village and changed lives of over 30 girls by teaching them the skill of tailoring. Lilly is now the Program Director for this project! Please consider giving other girls like Lilly the chance at a new life.

JOIN OUR VOLUNTEERS
If you have some time to give and are looking to make a difference, why not volunteer? We have in-office and at-home opportunities. You do not necessarily have to live in the Nashville area.
We currently need volunteers for the Charity of the Night event, as well as the Song of Freedom Concert.
