Netball America was honored this month by receiving an award from Coaches Across America and this is allowing us to have a paid coach position in Atlanta. We are also looking for volunteers to assist our coaches in presenting to the Cobb County School District the morning of Thursday August 1. Email us.

WELCOME TO NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF WEST COAST REGION 
We welcome to the team Aletta Godden from Santa Clara, California. Aletta's role will be to help drive our West Coast programs, member support and development.
As a competitive track & field athlete, national squash player, and experienced Netball player, Aletta's passion for sports evolved into creating her own consulting firm, GEA Consulting, Inc. focusing on improving and resolving business practice-related issues within the sports industry. Aletta is an experienced project manager and develops methods to generate organizational awareness through social media, and online communities. You can read more about Aletta here.

LOOKING FOR NETBALL COACH - PAID POSITION
Another big win for Netball in the USA! Coach Across America recently recognized Netball America and President Sonya was at the VIP Benefit Dinner in New York receiving the fantastic news of the grant awarded to Netball America. This award recognizes the hard work Netball America is doing with USA Netball and will allow us to expand our coaching programs. The event was honoring Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
As a results, we are looking for an adult and youth Netball coach in the greater Atlanta Region. This position is part-time for 900 hours over the next 12 months commencing August 2013. Read the job description and salary arrangements here.

'LET'S MOVE THE YOUTH' CHARITY EVENT
Join us on Sunday afternoon September 29th at the Residence of the Australian Consul-General in Los Angeles. There will be great entertainment, fun activities or simply relax by the pool and enjoy a cool drink - all to support our great cause of championing active lifestyles for todays youth.

U.S. OPEN OF NETBALL - EARLY REGISTRATION CLOSING JULY 31ST
Be sure to get your team deposit of $500 in by July 31st in order to secure the early bird registration for the U.S. Open being held in Atlanta, Georgia, November 8th - 10th.
