TODAY!! Sunday, July 2
Book Talk by Gabe Galambos:
The Nation by the River
Noon / JHJC Center / Free
The Nation by the River is about a boy who discovers that he is part of an intact community of Crypto-Jews in modern day America! The subject of Anusim and Crypto-Jews is of considerable interest for many, including those now involved in the phenomenon of delving into their own hidden Jewish heritage. For many their generational struggles to maintain at least some semblance of Jewish legacy is nothing short of remarkable.
