Electrical Box painted by Artist, Alexandra Kutnetsova. A serene scene of Natick's landmarks at dusk among the Veteran's Memorials at
Moran Park/T. Station.
|
Artist, Christina Taylor, paints the friendly guardian "Robots" of the Pond St. parking lot. Most are wishing they could talk to help those with questions on how to use the kiosk to pay for parking.
Artist, Neil Collins, an avid lover of baseball history has begun work on the Harwood Baseball Electrical Box. His theme of the old-time baseball days his perfectly aligned with the history of this building. Look for it's completion in July.

Art Abounds in the Downtown
|
Now that the warmer weather has finally arrived, the painting of the electrical boxes has begun. The Moran Park and Pond Street Lot boxes have been completed and there is one more still in progress.
The last electrical box is being painted at 12 Walnut Street, the site of the Harwood Baseball factory. This is where t
he figure-eight stitched baseball cover was first mass manufactured in 1858 by H. Harwood and Sons, the first baseball factory in the United States. The artwork chosen for this box honors the rich baseball history that Natick has been a part of for centuries.
We are looking for art submissions for our next 2 electrical boxes to be painted. Submissions should be submitted by July 7th. Please visit
HERE
for more details.
