Summer is in full swing here at the Studio and we are enjoying seeing all of your smiling faces! We have some exciting new things going on this month to include Balance Wellness Education, brand new classes, new staff members and a few things moving around on the schedule! Be sure to stop by and see what's new and enjoy your July!

Balance Wellness Education - Travel with Balance!
Join us the last Saturday of July for our first installment of Wellness Education classes that are open to the public. Come in to tour the studio and meet our newest partner Dawn Jex and learn about how traveling the globe has brought balance into her life. Dawn will also share our plans for an upcoming yoga retreat to Costa Rica. Every person who attends this event will receive a free gift. 


Wellness Education will be an ongoing event with a different speaker and topic each month including open house specials & refreshments.

NEW CLASSES!!!  
Balance & Core
This class is designed to improve our balance by working on a base that is unstable. An Indo Board mimics the feeling of being on a Stand Up Paddle Board without actually being on the water. This class is  for all levels of yoga practitioners and can be modified by doing some of the poses on the ground. Every class will also include some core work. Come to class ready to play, work and have fun!
7 - 8am Wednesday & Fridays starting 7/12
 
Yoga For Recovery
Yoga for Recovery is designed to be a class that welcomes any and all individuals dealing with recovery issues. This classroom is a place of acceptance and understanding and is appropriate for any level of yoga practitioner.
Noon - 1:15pm Tuesdays starting 7/11
 
Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra will include 20 minutes of gentle asana postures to prepare our body to lie still for 40 minutes of guided meditation. During this class you will reach a level of deep relaxation while still being awake. This class is appropriate for any level of yoga practitioner. 
 10:30-11:30am Tuesdays starting 7/11

Community Yoga at the Beach!
Join us  EVERY SATURDAY  during July and August for Community Yoga at the Beach from 8am - 9am! $5 suggested donation goes to our charity of the month. 

Dawn will be at East Beach:  July 8, July 22, Aug 5, Aug 19, Sept 2
 
Sheri & Pat will be at Myrtle Street Beach:  May 6, May 20, June 3, June 17, July 1, Aug 12, Aug 26

Yamuna Body Rolling
We use our faces every day to express our emotions, to laugh, smile and sometimes we even frown a little bit. Our faces are the windows to our soul and they deserve some relief and rejuvenation. Join us as we use our Yamuna Ball to relieve muscle stress to include all areas of the neck, face and especially the jaw and TMJ area. This will be very helpful if you grind your teeth at night!

Barre is Back
Our summer Barre schedule with Hillary returns on July 19th.
 
New Class Times!

Evening Zen Yoga with Sheri will be now be offered each Tuesday from 6-7:15pm starting 7/11.

Yoga Basics with Sonja will now be offered each Thursday from 6-7:15pm starting 7/6.

Feldenkrais with Elaine will now be offered twice per week with a new offering each Monday from 6-7:15pm starting 7/3.
Vanquishing Stress
Meditation Workshop
July 29, 11:30a-12:30p

Participants will learn how to instantly decrease stress by altering the body's physiological response to stress. Sound and breath-work used to instantly change the body's response to stress by working with the body to physiologically calm the nervous system.

Charity of the Month

Richelle Morgan is a yoga teacher and surrogate mom to pup pies found in the Jungles of Tulum, Mexico. She works with Help Tulum Dogs to provide much needed health care, find foster and adoptive families and save their lives. 
There are no shelters in Mexico and spay/neuter is generally not practiced.

Donations collected at our Saturday Beach Yoga Community Classes will benefit the Lost Dogs Foundation & Tulum Dogs.

The Charity of the Month is chosen by our Team Member who hosts our new Wellness Education class that month.
