Jump, Jive and All That Jazz at BCM!
Music@BCM Welcomes Nicole Zuraitis
in Live From New York

Thursday, May 3, 7-9 p.m.
Jazz comes alive at BCM as we kick off the 2018 Music@BCM concert series! Our first headliner from the Big Apple brings her visceral vocals and powerhouse presence to the Music@BCM stage.

Nicole Zuraitis has thrilled audiences across Manhattan while pursuing a career that has spanned jazz, pop and classical. She has "a voice that's hard to ignore... remarkable range... you can't help but stop and take notice," says Jazz Inside Magazine.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with food and refreshments, with the performance running from 7 to 9 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 3-12. Museum members pay for one admission and get the second one free. Adult beverages are available for purchase. Concert-goers can also purchase food by Colonial Cottage of Erlanger, KY, supporting local community organizations. Parking is free.
Come Early to Sample Fine Wines!
Join us before the concert for a special wine-tasting of a variety of wines in the Education Center hosted by the Covington Rotary Club from 5-7 p.m. with appetizers provided by Molly Malone's.
Cost: $10 for four tastings. (Includes admission to concert.)

Grab your lightsaber and may the facts be with you as you compete with other movie devotees for BCM’s Trivia Night trophy. Show off your knowledge of the Star Wars trilogy in a friendly competition run by Last Call Trivia and hosted by ALIVE!, BCM’s new young professionals group. Everyone welcome – you don’t have to be a YP to play. Admission is $8 per person or $25 for a team of four. Cash bar; free parking.

Barns, Brushes & Bubbly: Barn Quilt Paint Night at BCM

Tuesday, May 8, 6-9 p.m.
Using a reclaimed 20″ wood pallet and guided by art instructor Amy Kennedy-Moore, participants will paint a quilt block reminiscent of barn quilts seen throughout our region. Amy will have at least 8 patterns to choose from, or if you come prepared you may paint your own design while you sip a refreshing beverage. Gather a gang and make it a fun group project! All materials supplied.

Mrs. Ann Milburn played an integral part in the funding of our newly restored 1924 Stewart Iron Works U.S. Motor Truck on the first floor in the Rails Gallery. She got her first glimpse of the completed project last week during the reception for the  Mrs, White's Kindergarten exhibit.  We would like to thank the Milburns for their financial support and for visiting BCM! The NKY Picnic Table Project

We're having fun telling the BCM story in paint for the NKY Picnic Table Project! Our table is almost ready for the giant community picnic on the Purple People Bridge on June 16. Learn more about this exciting initiative of the Public Arts Network of Northern Kentucky HERE.
