Dear Friends, In this newsletter we want to talk about how you use our drones, sensors, and DDMS all over the world. From farmlands in Canada, to orchards in Southeast Asia, you put our drones to work for you every day in hundreds of different ways.

In this issue we share how one company is using our drones to help build the third largest dam in the world in Brazil, another is using our gear for crop monitoring and research, and still others find innovative ways to streamline their operations. Read more about them below.

We continue to make progress with Drone Data Management System development. This month we would like to share two new tutorials that help you make the most out of your drone data. See below for more information
As our company enters its fifth year, we are excited about the progress that the drone industry has made and the tremendous support you have given to us along the way. From our humble beginnings in 2011, we now have customers in more than 70 countries on six continents using our drones, sensors and DDMS analytics platform for countless business applications, conservation, and research.

We are always interested in your ideas and feedback on how we can better serve you. What can we do for you?

3. Drone Data Management System Update

The Event 38 Drone Data Management System™  is our All-in-One Storage, Sharing and Analysis Platform..

DDMS is one of the first to be able to take data from any drone
or sensor, create high value analytics, and
port it out to popular reporting systems

DDMS streamlines your entire post-processing workflow - Upload, Process, Analyze and Share. It automatically creates a geotagged orthomosaic and tiles large maps to be viewed quickly in Map Viewer, our online map tool or on your mobile device. DEMs, NDVI and DVI calculations are available as well.
Over the past few months, we have attracted users on six continents. You have flown thousands of missions and achieved important insights from your data. And your feedback has set the stage for our future development activities.

Solutions for Agriculture - By combining our rugged, long endurance fixed wing E386 drone bundled with ten new apps on our cloud based Drone Data Management System™, growers now have the ability to easily collect detail data and create high-value analytics for improved farm management. More information is here.

Tutorial - How to Create Management Zones in DDMS and Share Them with Ag Leader SMS

Management zones close the gap between observation and action, allowing a farmer to utilize drone data to create prescription maps. By applying fertilizers and pesticides intelligently, farmers save time and money.
We have ported DDMS to Ag Leader SMS, the agriculture industry-leading SMS software, which provides you with an easy-to-use decision-making tool to help you capture the most out of every acre. More information here

Great How-toTutorial for Capturing and Processing NDVI Imagery

Droneranger published an excellent post on DIY Drones about how he used one of our infrared sensors and DDMS to capture NDVI. You can read the full article   here
