NEW HYMNALS:

The printers are running behind so we actually do not know when our roll out will be of the new hymnal in the pews. Most likely, we will see them in early summer. This hymnal largely has our hymns from the two current hymnals plus 150 new hymns for us to try over time. The new hymnal was made possible by an individual gift but about 1/3 of the necessary hymnals to fill our sanctuary are available to be purchased for $20 each (at cost) in honor or memory of someone. Forms for this are in the bulletin today. You can also go see Melissa in the church office Mon-Thurs, 9-2 or send via email at [email protected]. Please know that the bookplates have limited space so please keep your dedication limited to two lines of 35 characters each (including spaces).

A CELEBRATION:

On Sunday, June 11th, following morning worship, please come to Wright Fellowship Hall for a little celebration of Gene and Martha Loer's 65th wedding anniversary. Not a big fancy party, just some cake or light refreshments that their children are planning.

Please drop by and help them celebrate!

WOMEN'S CIRCLE:

This will be on the usual second Tuesday of the month, June 13th. All women are invited to come for the 9th and final Lesson, "According to Contemporary Cultural Interpretations," in the Bible study book, Who is Jesus? What a Difference a Lens Makesby Judy Yates Silver.    Background Scripture:Matthew 15:21-28; Luke 10:38-42, and Key Scripture:  Matthew 15:21-28.

So far, we don't have anyone signed up either for leading the Bible study or for bringing refreshments. If you want to do one of these things, please let Martha Loer know;  512-447-8012 or [email protected]. Thanks! Hope we'll be seeing you at Circle.

FOOD PANTRY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

The food pantry is in need of volunteers who can give their time one to two times a month. This is especially needed on Mondays and Thursdays. Please contact Kathy Renfro at [email protected] for more specific information and training.

PICTORIAL DIRECTORY:

Check the narthex table if you still need a color pictorial directory. We are able to print a black & white version of the pictorial directory for anyone who wants one. Contact Melissa in the office and she can assist you.

2017 GRADUATES:

ANY 2017 GRADUATES? It's time to congratulate all our Faith folk who are passing some educational milestone-graduation from high school, college, trade school, getting a graduate degree, whatever! If you have someone in your family we should send a card to, please let Martha Loer know, and we'll have a card in the foyer for all of you to sign.   512-447-8012 or [email protected], but please put something in the subject line to let Martha know it's OK to open it.

YOU CAN GIVE ELECTRONICALLY
(but we still accept cash and checks as usual!).

How does it work? Scan the QR code below with your smartphone. There are no additional fees for you as the donor. However, as with all such transactions, an administrative fee of 1% will be deducted from your gift before it is delivered to our church. This one-time fee is for the reasonable and customary costs of operation of the Presbyterian Mission Exchange which hosts our electronic giving. If you pay by EFT option, this will be the full extent of the fees deducted. Gifts made using a credit or debit card will be assessed an additional fee of 2.598%+$0.26 (deducted automatically by our card processing vendor). Your full donation, which includes all the fees, is tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.
