Annual Meeting 2018
Spirit ~ Stories ~ Love!
Have you heard our Good News gossip?
Thanks to the work of Rev. Holly Morrison, Sue Burgess and the kitchen ministry team at First Parish Saco we will be blessed with Farm-to-Table Meals during our retreat and annual meeting. The cost of your meals may be a bit more this year but well worth the few extra dollars to support our local farmers.
If you would like to physically, prayerfully or financially help with this meal ministry & mission support of your local farmers please email Abby at

2018 Boundary Awareness Training
Opportunities Sponsored by the
Maine Conference UCC
"Everyday Boundaries" with Rev. Dr. Susan Stonestreet - Unlike many boundary training's, this workshop does not focus on the kinds of misconduct that wind up in the newspaper, but on the ordinary and vexing boundary conflicts that clergy manage every day. For example, clergy are often torn between the needs of their families and the demands of their congregations. To complicate matters, clergy are often rewarded at church for being over-responsible, and criticized at home. Stir in a congregation's anxiety about decline, the lack of interest from the millennial generation, and worry about the future, and setting boundaries can become an experience of setting sail in a perfect storm. A focus on "Saying No to Say Yes" will help us live more abundantly in our personal lives and ministries. 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 18, 2018 @ Union Congregational UCC of Ellsworth Falls, 2 Falls Court, Ellsworth $25.
