Great news! First Book and the No Kid Hungry Campaign have teamed up to add a helping of books to the food, friends and fun at summer meal sites like yours this summer. These Summer Fun Starter Kits offer 20 books for $25 or 50 books for $40, and include engaging titles sure to get kids excited about reading!

First Book is a nonprofit organization that provides access to free and low-cost new books fro schools and programs serving children in need. We're excited to invite you to sign up with First Book so that you can get access to these great books for the kids you serve.    

To get started, just follow these easy steps:    

1. Sign up with First Book by clicking HERE. This free online process takes about 10 minutes to complete. All summer meal providers are eligible to sign up. Simply provide your contact information and some additional details, such as an estimation of the number of kids you'll be serving this summer.    
2. Visit the First Book Marketplace to check out the   Summer Fun Starter Kit book collections for lower elementary, upper elementary and middle school-aged kids. You can purchase multiple collections, in addition to any of the other books and resources on the First Book Marketplace! Everything is between 50 and 90 percent off retail prices.   
3. Share First Book with other educators, program leaders or service providers serving children in need - we have books for them, too!

And that's it! Once you've signed up with First Book, you're connected to an ongoing supply of brand-new books and educational resources. You'll receive emails about upcoming book distributions, new content and other opportunities.
