Recently 2-1-1 Sacramento received a follow-up call from the father of a 6 year old boy. He and his son had unexpectedly become homeless and he had called us for help.  The Call Specialist was able to refer him to several resources and he was able to get assistance from Volunteers of America. He stated, "We were given a really nice place to stay, and I am so happy that 211 was there to help me".
