Bikes & Bites on the Fox
Bikes & Bites on the Fox, hosted by the Elgin Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and sponsored by the Elgin Bicycle & Pedestrian Committee, is an event designed to attract bike riders off of the Fox River Bike Trail and into Downtown Elgin
. Enjoy Food Trucks, Farmers' Market, FREE Kids' Activity Center, Bags Tournament and Buskers!

IKE's Fish For Fun Fishing Derby
With the help from the Izaak Walton League of America, Fish for Fun event features a fishing derby for youths 15 years old and younger. This event is FREE and family friendly. Awards are presented for the largest catch in each category. Youth must be accompanied by an adult. Depending on weather, time and location is subject to change. Fox River Cleanup
Officer Demierre is looking for volunteers to help with a river clean-up he's coordinating. On Saturday, June 18th at 8 a.m., volunteers will meet at Walton Island and work their way south to Route 20 until 12 p.m. Interested in joining the efforts?
