As the weather warms up, the District's residents will begin to irrigate their landscaping. The District wants to remind you that it has a Water Demand Management Strategy in place to help it meet the increased water demands that come with landscape irrigation. The District requests that residential and commercial landscape irrigation be limited to three days a week based on your street address as follows:
- Odd-numbered street addresses: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
- Even-numbered street addresses: Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday
Additionally, the District's Rules and Regulations states, "Irrigation systems, either manual or automatic, shall only be operated during off-peak energy usage periods (10:00 p.m. through 10:00 a.m.)."

The District currently has three parks, several open space areas, and pedestrian trails. Two of the parks, North Manchester and South Manchester, are across Londonderry Drive from each other at Litchfield Street. The third, Drayton Green Park, is located at the corner of Rockingham Drive and Carrington Drive. Each park offers its set of unique amenities. All District parks are open to the public without regard to District residency. Park hours are 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
The District has a number of open spaces and pedestrian trails that meander mostly through residential areas of the District. The open spaces are usually marked by signs along street access. Pedestrian traffic is allowed in the open spaces. Motorized vehicles, trailers, or campers, other than emergency and/or District vehicles, are not allowed to use the trails or open spaces.
The District's
Parks and Recreation Policies and Regulations may be accessed from the District's website.

Excavation and installation of a sanitary sewer main.
|
Contractors for the Eagle Development Company are continuing to work on the site improvements in Paint Brush Hills Filings 13B, 13C, and 13D along Londonderry Drive west of Towner Avenue. The utilities infrastructure construction, that includes the installation of water and sanitary sewer mains, and storm water facilities, began last month.
The final phase of the infrastructure construction will be completed in September 2017 according to Jeff Mark, president of The Landhuis Company which owns Eagle Development Company. A total of 253 residential lots will be developed within the three filings. Tap fees from the home builders in this development will result in over $5 million of gross revenue to the District. In addition, Eagle Development will reimburse the District for its direct costs related to the District's inspections of the infrastructure improvements.
