The banks of the South River in Downtown Waynesboro will be the backdrop for the biggest outdoor shag dance party ever in Virginia 
with thousands of people converging on the River City for one day!
The Chairmen of the Board, The Fantastic Shakers and Erin & The Wildfire will headline the music festival, with shag dance lessons, volleyball, bocce ball, Jenga and cornhole stations set up all around the park.

Local food, craft beer, cider and fine Virginia wine will be available on premises.  Tickets are $15 in advance for adults and $5 for students. Gate admission will be $20 for adults and $5 for students. 
Family Fiestas

On Monday evenings in June, at 6:00 p.m., families are invited to come out to Ridgeview Park and enjoy some quality time together enjoying a variety of FREE, special entertainment. All performances will be at the Woodland Picnic Shelter with easy access to the playground, pool, or a nice walk along the river.

The Ridgeview Park Amphitheater will be home of the Summer Music Series this year. Grab your spot on the hill, spread your blanket, grab a bite at the food truck, then just kick back and relax. The band starts at 6:00 pm. Come out and rock out!

Dooms Volunteer Fire Co. Carnival
June 13 - June 17
Constitution Park

It wouldn't be summer without a local carnival! and this one benefits the Dooms Fire Department. On Tuesday through Thursday, the carnival is open from 6 PM - 10 PM.  On Friday and Saturday, carnival hours are from 6 PM -11 PM.

The Mud Run (6-12 yr olds) and Fun Dash (3-5 yr olds) wind through the fields and trails of Waynesboro's Ridgeview Park!  Whether traversing the balance beams, crawling through the mud pit, or sliding to victory on the giant slip n' slide, your kids are guaranteed to have a good time. Come celebrate the beginning of summer with us at the 3rd Annual Fun 2 Run Mud Run Event!
