Save the Date for our upcoming Fall Fundraiser:

Over 2,000 people slept on the streets of Sacramento every day last year. We want to move them back into homes. Join us for a night of entertainment, activities, and food as we go back to our roots in Oak Park to host Block Party: Raising the Roof for Homelessness on the block of 2925 34th Street. Tickets will be based on a " pay what you want " model, with entry given to anyone who brings a gift from our wishlist to benefit the guests and residents of our shelter and housing programs. Volunteer Spotlights: Edwin Booze

Meet Edwin, a dedicated volunteer at Francis House Center whose commitment to helping the homeless comes from understanding the experience first-hand. Edwin came to Sacramento from Chicago for work back in 2008. After a year and a half, however, he found himself without a job or a place to call home.

Lien has been a volunteer with Francis House Center for the past 10 years. She joined our Board of Directors in 2006, making a wonderful impact on the lives of our clients and staff. As a young girl she came to the U.S. after the Vietnam War in 1975. She spent her career working for the State of California and today dedicates her time to volunteer service, continuing with us as a Direct Services volunteer.

Ending Chronic Homelessness

Learn more about Katherine and how she's leaving behind 30 years of homelessness thanks to the help of our long-term housing program. Chronic homelessness is an issue that prevents so many of those we help from finding a home. It is one of the most pressing issues we work to solve through the services we provide.

It's so much more than wine. Raise funds for Next Move and Francis House Center by hosting a wine sampling party with a group of your family and friends. Wines for Humanity provides an unforgettable experience with fine wine tastings that is fun, educational, and allows you to give back to your community. Benefit Concert at Bogle Vineyard Friday, August 31st - 5:00 p.m to 7:30 p.m.

The Count is at it again with another benefit concert for Francis House and Next Move. Join us at Bogle Vineyards for their Friday Night Alfresco. Tickets are $15 at the door and food vendors will be serving lobster and nachos !
