Practicing Peace in our world where anger, hatred and fear lead to so much suffering, more than ever, we need to find ways to cultivate peace, kindness, and reverence for life. Jackie Schmitz, CSJ leads us in an hour of Centering Prayer, music, ritual and sharing. Meets on the second and fourth Mondays each month.

Bluff Spring Fen Day
Trip to Elgin

  Led by butterfly expert Doug Taron, Chief Curator of the Chicago Academy of Sciences, we will explore wetland, savanna, hill prairie and mesic prairie during a beautiful time of year for flowering plants. Bring binoculars to spot the many migratory birds!

 includes transportation from The Well.

9:00 am until 1:00 pm 
 
Regular hours will resume in the Fall.

Seasons of Hope
Mondays, June 4, 11 & 18, 2018

Mourning the loss of someone you love is never easy, and in a spirit of compassion and pastoral care, St. Francis Xavier and St. John of the Cross are sponsoring the 'Seasons of Hope' program. This informal support group will share God's loving consolation through scripture, prayer and reflection on consecutive Mondays in June at 7:00 pm. These spring sessions will be held at St. John of the Cross 5005 Wolf Road in Western Springs. Call the SJC parish office to register 708-246-4405.
