MISSION MINISTRY UPDATE

Aprons for Haiti Would you like to make a beautiful, handmade gift for the women in Haiti but afraid you don't know how?  It's easier than you may think!  Starting on Sunday, June 19 there will be apron kits  availa ble for purchase.  The kits will contain everything needed to make an apron except the thread, which we ask you provide.  If you do not sew you can still purchase a kit and someone else can sew the apron.  To help defray the cost for the materials there will be a charge of $6.00 per apron.  A table will be setup in the Fireside Room between services.  If you would like to purchase your own mat erial, etc. you can pick up a pattern and instruction sheet.

Please pray for the Good Samaritan Ministries Heritage Education Center in Rwanda that they may find resources to build fencing and sanitation projects.

Do you have too much spare time on your hands and would li ke to  do something meaningful? Join others from our church by volunteer ing at the Good Samaritan Ministries "Sam's Attic Thrift Store" on SE 1 7th & Tacoma in Sellwood. Sam's Attic needs cashiers, courtesy clerks,  greeters and much more.  Store hours are Wednesday & Friday 10:00 - 3:00; Thursday 10:00 - 5:00 and Saturdays 11:00 - 4:00. You can choose your own hours! All items are donated and all the staff are volunteers. Proceeds go to the Good Samaritan Ministries School and Orphanage for 1,400 children in Masaka, Uganda. Contact Lynda or Don Wienk for more details:

2016 Golf Tournaments/Dinner
Join us for a relaxing day of fun and fellowship on July 28, as Our Saviors sponsors the annual Golf Tournaments and Dinner benefiting  Royal Family Kids' Camp. All are invited to participate in this fundraiser for a wonderful cause by playing in the tournament and/or attending the catered dinner that follows at OSLC.

So that all can participate, there are two tournaments, one for the guys and one for the gals...
The men's Golf Tournament is Thursday, July 28 - 7:15 a.m.
The women's Golf Tournament is Thursday July 28 - 8:00 a.m.

A delicious catered Golf Tournament/Dinner will be held that same evening at OSLC at 5:00 p.m., July 28, 2016. Flyers with more information are available in the narthex or  Click Here to see it on our webpage. Please R.S.V.P. as early as you can as the catered dinner requires an advanced count. See you on the course!
