SPREAD THE WORD - Applications for the NEW (and FREE) Belleayre Conservatory Student Jazz Workshop due June 30!

 

Instructors Chris Earley, head of the music department at SUNY - Ulster Co. and Kingston school district jazz band director Mike Treat will lead students in jazz improvisation, mallet percussion technique, and ensemble performance.

 

The final day of the workshop will include a Master Class from Stefon Harris, considered "one of the most important young artists in jazz." 

 

The workshop is on Thursday, August 9 and Friday, August 10 from 12am-5pm with a culminating performance at 5pm on Friday.
