ATTENTION!
There will be a work party at the school on Saturday, June 16, at 9:00 am. If you are in need of volunteer hours, this is a great way to knock them off your list! Some of the projects we will tackle are:
  • Clean out the gutters
  • Painting bathrooms and some classrooms
  • Paint new exterior doors
  • Pressure wash playground structure
  • Wash windows inside and out
  • Paint red emergency curbs

END-OF-THE-YEAR REMINDER
Remember that all school accounts must be current by June 6th (unless you have scheduled Smart Tuition payments in the summer months), including E-Care.  All library books need to be returned (or fee paid for lost books), sports uniforms returned, and any other outstanding fees.  School policy states that report cards and school records will be held for any outstanding account balances, books, or uniforms.  Thank you.
CHAPEL

Join us for Awards Chapel on Thursday, June 7, at 8:30 a.m.

We will be celebrating the accomplishments of the students and the contributions made by Mrs. Baxter, Mrs. Froelich, and Mrs. Barron. 
FIELD DAY
Field Day is Friday, June 8. If you would like to volunteer to help that morning, please contact your child's teacher. 
A NOTE OF THANKS
Hello MCS Family, 
 
Now that things have settled down a little bit, I wanted to thank each of you for the prayers, donations and love we received after our house fire.

This is a situation we never expected to be in, but the support has been overwhelming and has helped us get through this. It has been such a comfort for Chandler to be able to go to school and be with her friends, surrounded by their love and friendship.

If any of you do not have insurance or working fire alarms, please obtain them. 

Please pray for Chandler, as she has had a hard time adjusting to this new chapter in our lives.

SMART TUITION ACCOUNTS
Please be aware that Smart Tuition assigns a new account number to parent accounts each year.  As you make your August payment for the 2018-19 school year, please be sure it is going the new year (otherwise, it will be applied to 2017-18).  If you use auto-pay from your checking account, please make sure your bank has the new account number.  Your new account number will be sent to you with your Welcome Letter approximately 2-3 weeks before your August payment is due.
PIZZA LUNCH 

Thursday is Pizza Lunch Day. If you did not pay-in-full for pizza and would like to order for your child, please pay on Wednesday.
