Sub_URBAN – New works by
Aimée Henny Brown

June 23 - July 28, 2018

Opening Reception: Sat, June 23,
2 - 4 pm

We are delighted to be featuring the work of Vancouver artist Aimée Henny Brown . Aimée, who is based in Vancouver, but works in various locations in Canada and the US, has created a series of photographic and mixed media collage pieces, largely in two dimensional format. Several small architectural models will be included well. Many of the pieces reference local historical buildings which have been repositioned alongside modern and even futuristic elements in often strange and provocative collage formats

Aimée, who is an excellent presenter, will offer an illustrated talk on her work at 2 pm on Saturday, July 28 .

We acknowledge the support of the Maple Ridge Museum and Archives for support during the research phase of this project.
