Over the past year, Artists Roger Chen and Wan-Yi Lin, have invited the public to share ‘defining moments’ in their lives: instances or experiences that have somehow changed their perceptions about who they are. The result is an intriguing collection of anonymous public responses which the artists have mounted and installed in the gallery as the Defining Moments exhibition.
Roger Chen and Yan-Yi maintain a studio practice called Mizzonk in Maple Ridge, BC. This project was funded in part by the Maple Ridge Public Art Steering Committee.
Exhibition Dates: June 17 - July 15

Heidi Lambert is an award winning Vancouver based watercolor painter. Her paintings are realistic and representational, enhanced with deep values and rich in color, selected from subjects that she finds inspiring. Heidi is drawn to subject matter where the drama of light and shadow are a strong factor. Her favorite subjects are those close to what keeps her centered – the water: Westcoast scenes, the ocean and the rhythm of the tides, the ebb and flow of the water. “I am an artist not just because I love to do what I do, but because I want to share all I see with the viewer.” – Heidi Lambert
