About the poets:
ANN SINCLAIR
is a poet and clinical social worker who lives in Portland, Oregon. Her work has appeared in Verseweavers and The Oregonian.
KRISTINE SHOREY
spent 15 years working in brand management and strategy for large corporations. In 1998 she left the corporate world and turned to writing. She found that through writing she finally was able to begin processing her experience of having been widowed before the age of 30. She lives in Seattle. You can find her author's page on Facebook.
M
is a poetry editor for Stirring: A Literary Collection, an administrator of an online poetry critique forum, and co-chair of the Oregon Poetry Association's Portland Unit. She is the author of the poetry chapbook, To That Mythic Country Called Closure.
NANCY WOMACK
is a retired community college educator, holds a Ph.D. in modern British literature from the University of South Carolina. In 2005 she lost her husband of 42 years to cancer. Writing about his illness and death helped her to regain her own sense of identity in a dramatically different environment.
NATASHA SAJ
is the author of three books of poems, Red Under the Skin, Bend, and Vivarium, plus many essays. She is a professor of English at Westminster College in Salt Lake City and has been teaching in the Vermont College M.F.A. in Writing program since 1996.
