Join AMP Fest Tonight in the Marriott Courtyard!
Looking for something fun and different tonight? Come out for AMP Fest, an infusion of local cuisine, spirits, and music in the courtyard of AMP 150 at the Marriott Hotel, 4277 West 150th Street. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. for this exclusive tasting. Tickets are $45, and may be purchased at the door.
Enjoy great rock music by one of the area's most popular local bands: The Westies, with Angel Keane on vocals, Thomas Keane on bass, Paul McDonald on drums, and Steven Varelmann on lead guitar. A $10 donation for each purchased ticket and proceeds from the silent auction will go to CPPA Charities, Inc.

St. Joseph Academy, 3470 Rocky River Drive. Sign-in starts at 6:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. program.
The evening's agenda includes updates on neighborhood initiatives including the proposed Business Improvement District for "Downtown Kamm's Corners," the Rocky River Drive Master Plan project, renovation of the Alber Building, and our discussions with
Bellaire Puritas Development Corporation around a Strategic Alliance. Councilman Marty Keane will provide news about city-related issues, and the
West Park Historical Society will give a brief presentation on the origin of West Park.
Enjoy merchant giveaways at the spontaneous raffle throughout the evening. Then join us on the Scholars' Porch overlooking the valley for a fabulous sunset and refreshments.

farms, vineyards, and orchards in various Cleveland neighborhoods takes place the weekend of July 11 and 12, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Fifteen West Park gardens are set to be shown. Consider showcasing your home garden, too. It doesn't have to be huge or elaborate. Simple excellence is welcome, featuring shaded nooks and interesting garden creations, fruits and vegetables, herbs and rocks, or a wide variety of plants and flowers. Download the parade application here to participate in this popular parade, stepping off at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 4. Please note that fees have increased and must be received by the West Park Kiwanis Club on or before June 20. Don't delay! The Parade Marshall this year is Mary Ann Corrigan-Davis, President of St. Joseph Academy. The National Anthem will be performed by West Park resident Carol Silvay, who is a cantor at St. Patrick Church and volunteer at the Kamm's Corners Farmers Market. participate in this summer's rain barrel program, free of charge. Supplies are limited and first come, first served. Those living in Ward 17 should contact Bill Markowitz: 216-252-6559, ext. 1400 or [email protected]. A 2" x 3" rectangular downspout is needed on the home or garage not visible from the street that drains to the sewer (not over the driveway or sidewalk). Melissa Ramirez has been with the YMCA of Greater Cleveland since October 2012 and was Regional Membership Director for the west side branches before becoming Branch Director for our West Park Family YMCA, 15501 Lorain Avenue. Prior to working for the YMCA, she spent eight years in the television industry, primarily in sports production as a director and producer and later in promotions, marketing, and special events planning. Melissa resides in Avon with her husband and their two energetic kids. Best wishes to previous director, Brandon Bussey, who is now Branch Director of the North Royalton YMCA.
