THE CITY OF WENATCHEE

The Wenatchee Valley encompasses an area that includes arid desert landscapes, the contrast between manicured parks and natural beaches along the Columbia River and the alpine wilderness of the Cascade Range in North Central Washington.  It has become a favorite for outdoor enthusiasts. In the same day you can: water ski the Columbia River and snow ski Mission Ridge; whitewater raft the Wenatchee River and mountain bike Sage Hills; enjoy a few rounds of golf and take a snowshoe trek; and... you get the idea.  That environment has served the area well in attracting medical and business professionals, families, and retirees.

Wenatchee has a nationally recognized main street, so there are many buildings in the downtown that are historic and many now under new ownership being refurbished and renewed to house new businesses. Orondo Street, which runs east to west, is brick in the downtown area with many unique little shops all around and a view of the Columbia River as you head east. Breathtaking grand vistas are the specialty of the Wenatchee Valley.
