June News
Greetings!

We are delighted and amazed at the level of healthcare activity going on in our city. When we started NYCHBL nearly three years ago, there was little focus on the importance of our industry to the health of the city. Now healthcare is front and center in many conversations. We are so proud to have been a part for this transformation. Thanks to all of you who have been strong supporters. There is much to report...so keep reading below.

Sincerely,

ROI Realities: How to Create World-class Marketing on a Limited Budget
Wednesday, July 31st at NYU Medical Center
5:30 - 8:30 pm

Whether you're a start-up or have been in business for decades, today's budget realities can make marketing feel like a luxury, rather than a necessity.  But today's tools and tactics make it possible to achieve a return on your marketing investment without breaking the bank.

Heartbeat Ideas Heartbeat Ideas CEO Bill Drummy will outline the realities of today's marketing landscape and prove that you can do world-class marketing on a limited budget. He will show you how highly efficient and productive digital techniques can get you to key insights faster (and less expensively), and lead to executions that provide richer bang for the buck. Bill will be joined by other successful healthcare marketers who will share real-world case studies of how they achieved impressive outcomes with modest investments.
#hcsmNY sells out!
Connecting Healthcare and Social Media Over 120 people attended our 2-day social media conference in May. For those who were there, you know that #hcsmNY was our hashtag. We had so many power tweeters in the room (and on stage) that we lit up Twitter. Here is the Storify version produced by Dr. Wen Dombrowski a/k/a @healthcarewen.

Beyond Twitter, the conference generated tons of coverage on blogs and news outlets - read the reviews on our ConnectingHCSM site. In addition, many of our speakers shared their presentations.

A shout-out to our sponsors who enabled us to do much more than we would have been able to without their support. Thank you to: QualityHealth, Happtique, eVariant, Intouch Solutions and Spector & Associates.

This was our first major conference, but feedback has been so positive that it probably won't be our last.
