Body of Water

With the hot, humid Texas summer coming soon, we are all reminded how essential hydration is for physical well-being and health. Our bodies are composed of 60% water. Blood, lymph, muscles, connective tissue, organs, and every cell within the human body requires ample amounts of water to function properly and efficiently. Plenty of fresh water in conjunction with exercise and a nutritious diet maintains optimum health.

The properties of water go even further. Water changes from gas to liquid, liquid to solid and back again. Water fills the shape of any container, and water pours and flows from one container to another. A large enough quantity of water, given enough time, will etch large caverns into the Earth. Water not only sustains our living internal world, but our oceans, animals, plants and entire ecosphere.

Water is physically and metaphysically an element of strength, flexibility, malleability, interconnectedness, transformation and the very essence of life.

So drink up and enjoy!

Pilates Mat Classes

Mondays and Wednesdays 8:30 a.m.
with Nanci

Great for beginners!
These classes feature traditionally inspired Pilates movements on the mat.  Pilates involves the entire body, with an emphasis on the deepest stabilizer muscles, commonly referred to as the "core". Harnessing the power of the core develops greater awareness and efficiency of movement while promoting healthy alignment and releasing unnecessary tension. The result is a strong, flexible, long and lean body!

No need to pre-register; simply pop in and join us!

1 Drop-In Class: $17

10 Class Pass: $140

More about Beginner Pilates Reformer Classes:
These group workshops are perfect for students new to Pilates! Discover the unique benefits of the Pilates Reformer, Chair, Cadillac, and much more!

Many people are intimidated by equipment in a Pilates studio. However, all of the equipment was designed to support you during the Pilates movement, facilitating proper alignment and form. This helps to create more efficient movement, allowing the body to work at its fullest potential in the development of strength, flexibility, balance and control.

More  information, including our schedule of classes and instructions on how to register, can be found on our
Pilates Workshops page.

Want to try the Pilates Equipment, but aren't able to join one of the workshops?
Ask us about our Solo or Duet sessions. You (or you and a friend) can meet with one of our Pilates trainers for a personalized session to meet your specific needs and goals. We do require advanced scheduling for these specialized Solo/Duet sessions.  Contact us to learn more.
