National Police Week 2012

National Police Week kicked off for C.O.P.S. with the Law Enforcement United Ride arriving in D.C., pictured above. This amazing event raised $150,000 for C.O.P.S. and an additional $80,000 for The Officer Down Memorial Page. What a great way to start the week!

C.O.P.S. hosted one of the largest National Police Survivors' Conference in history with 2,935 people attending. These attendees came from the 166 Officers who were on the 2011 Roll Call as well as returning survivors.

C.O.P.S. Introduces New Logo

At National Police Week 2012, C.O.P.S. began using the new official logo. The new logo was designed to serve as the centerpiece uniting all aspects of C.O.P.S. nationwide public image. The circular look remains true to the original logo, and the established date pays tribute to the history of C.O.P.S. The new color scheme plays off the colors of the original logo while giving it an updated look and feel. The folded flag helps C.O.P.S. clarify an important component of why the organization exists: to provide support to survivors of law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. This logo also provides the opportunity for C.O.P.S. to create a cohesive look throughout all of its 53 chapters while still providing enough flexibility to personalize End-Of-Watch logos.

The logos of C.O.P.S. are not intended for use without permission. To use the logo for a fundraising event please contact the C.O.P.S. Development Office at 573-346-4911. A logo usage agreement has been created until a National C.O.P.S. Style Guide is finalized.
