Thank You to The Greater Cincinnati Foundation!
The Greater Cincinnati Foundation recently awarded $160,000 in grants to fourteen animal welfare organizations to support the well-being of our region's pets. Pets In Need  is very fortunate to be among the recipients.
The GCF grant of $12,500 received by Pets In Need will provide extended care for dogs requiring diagnostics or treatment beyond
the capacity of our clinic's resources. In such cases, our veterinarians will make a referral to a partnering private veterinary practice which has agreed to substantially discount its services for Pets In Need pets.

Volunteer Spotlight: Ann Keeling

At Pets In Need, we love our volunteers! We rely on their time and talents to carry out our mission of helping pets.

Ann Keeling has been a member of the Pets In Need Board of Directors for about a year and half. She was inspired to become involved because of the dedication to animal welfare, people and pets, she saw from Pets In Need Executive Director, Ann Hill. Her concentration as a board member is on development, marketing, and how the organization is positioned both to internal and external audiences.

Ann's favorite part about   volunteering  with Pets In Need is its  commitment  to the mission. "Unlike some non-profits, PIN is laser focused on its mission. The board, staff and volunteers are committed to the mission and work hard to partner with other animal welfare groups and also other smart business people in the community that embrace the mission and can help catapult PIN," says Ann.

Ann has always been an animal lover. " My childhood cat was Grandpa - the greatest cat EVER. Currently we have two Australian Shepherds, Sammy & Winston, and two  cats, Peabody & Sherman. All of them are rescues. We have always only adopted rescues since there are so many that need loving homes. When Ann isn't volunteering with Pets In Need, she enjoys traveling, playing piano, shooting, cars, attending FC Cincinnati games, and spending time with her pet and human family.
