It's been an exciting 6 months for Harmony Hospice. We have continued to grow our amazing team. Always at the forefront of any hiring decision is the question,
"Will this person add quality and compassion to the service we provide our patients and their families?" I can say with great confidence, YES, we have some amazing new team members.
Our newest social worker, Kyra Tabor comes to us with many years of experience caring for patients in hospice. Kevin Westbrooks, who you'll learn more about in our Staff Highlight section this month, joined our spiritual counseling team. Corey Glasford, our new RN jumped right in on his first day, shadowing Lois, one of our all-star RNs. Sheila McGinnis now oversees community education and communications, and Stephanie Miles is Harmony Hospice's community integration director.
In the past few months we have also hired a new volunteer coordinator, Kenya Romero, who has fine-tuned our volunteer program and recruited some amazing volunteers to join our existing super heroes.
As I reflect on this growth, I am grateful that everyone at Harmony Hospice, those who have been with me since day one and new additions alike, are devoted to the care of our patients and their families.
It's everyone's dedication to quality medical care along with their love and compassion that makes me most proud to lead this organization. I am grateful every day for the Harmony Hospice team.
