We had an amazing fundraising season, and an eventful summer ahead!

Thank you to our wonderful donors and supporters!
Despite major setbacks during our fundraisers this Spring--from anti-abortion cyberterrorism hacking the Bowl-a-thon website, to BIG Day of Giving's site going down due to an unprecedented outpouring of donations--we still managed to raise a total of $8,050 via our spring fundraisers: Bowl-a-thon, Reproductive Freedom Week, and BIG Day of Giving!
Sacramento screening of the documentary
Trapped

Wednesday June 29th, 2016 at 7pm at the Clunie Community Center, join WHS and cosponsors Sacramento Young Feminists Alliance and League of Women Voters of Sacramento County for a special screening of the Sundance Award winning documentary screening of Trapped.

Tickets are $10. Buy them ahead of time on Eventbrite or arrive early to purchase tickets at the door.

The U.S. Supreme Court will decide any day now whether individual states may essentially outlaw abortion (Whole Woman's Health v. Hellerstedt). Trapped follows clinic workers and lawyers who are on the front lines of the battle to keep abortion safe and legal for millions of American women.
NNAF Summit

We had an amazing time at the National Network of Abortion Funds organizing summit, where we connected with other reproductive justice advocates across the country to share ideas in solidarity for raising funds for those who cannot afford to pay for their abortions.
