Father's Day is
THIS Sunday (yup, it snuck up on us too.)

The weather is warm and everyone is heading outdoors on the weekends for summer activities. So, from July 1st through Labor Day, we'll be closed on Sundays. Our normal Monday thru Saturday business hours still remain in effect.

| Firearm Highlight: Remington 700 |
Each newsletter, we plan to highlight a new firearm (or two) that has arrived at the store. This month, however, we are highlighting four.
First up, we're featuring the Remington 700 in .223. It comes in 26" Police and 20" LTR (Light Tactical Rifle).

| Firearm Highlight: Zastava CZ999c |
The Zastava CZ999c 9MM pistol comes with 2 magazines (15 + 1 capacity) for $349 
This DA/SA pistol with a 4" barrel gives you quite a bit of value for the money. In a market that is dominated by polymer framed pistols, this entry level, all-metal framed handgun stands out.
It is a 9MM that is mostly a clone of a Sig Sauer 9MM P226/P228
However, this firearm is completely ambidextrous! Also, a great feature of this pistol is that the slide stop is also your decocking lever.
At 2.3lbs, it does have some heft, but is nice in that the "felt recoil" is minimal.
This would be a great range/home defense gun for those on a budget.

| Firearm Highlight: Tangfolio RIA MAP1FS |
The Tangfolio RIA MAP1FS (or MS) DA/SA pistol is available in both a 4" or 5" barrel.
 These all-steel 9MM pistols are among the most copied in the world. Think Israeli Jericho, Baby Desert Eagle and Browning Hi Power to name a few.
Based of the CZ75 design, this handgun incorporates a very short slide. The reason behind this, is to have the barrel sit lower in your hand, thus allowing for a more natural pointing gun. It also makes follow-up shots faster and more accurate.
The manual safety is
reminiscent
of a 1911, in that you can carry this pistol cocked and locked if you like. This method allows for quick engagements.
Another nice feature of this pistol is the rail on the frame -- it allows the user to attach a flashlight
or laser light combo (we carry the full line of Streamlight weapon lights).
The Tangfolio RIA MAP1FS is all steel! Great for home defense/range use. Not something for concealed carry, as it comes in at 2.5lbs.
Both double action and single action pulls are wonderful, and only get better with use. Price: $429

| Firearm Highlight: UTAS UTS-15 |
The UTAS UTS-15 18" Barrel 12GA Shotgun has a 14+1 capacity for 2-3/4" or 3" shells.
This bullpup defense shotgun lends itself to close quarters defense and just looks plain menacing!
This sci-fi looking shotgun was developed in Turkey and has been imported into the states for awhile now.
The 14+1 capacity insures that the user has plenty of firepower. The ability to switch between magazines allows the user to choose his or her rounds for the situation at hand.
The barrel is also choked for any Beretta pattern threads. This allows you to install a breaching/ impact device, further making this already futuristic shotgun that much more unique! Price: $979
