We are about to hit the road in the newly remodeled Airstream bound for summer in the Pacific Northwest. DaSILVA UKULELE COMPANY
On Saturday, June 22 I'll return to one of my favorite ukulele haunts, the DaSilva Ukulele Company in Berkeley, California. Luthier Mike DaSilva is one of the premier uke makers in the world so it is always a treat to visit his shop, which is also a great workshop venue. I'll be presenting two workshops that day: at 11am the popular country sing-a-long Hank & Buck By Ear and at 12:30pm the always ear tickling 3 Chord Magic workshop. Here's hoping to see many of my bay area ukulele friends!

KERRVILLE FOLK FESTIVAL

The first ever ukulele camp at the prestigious Kerrville Folk Festival in Kerrville, Texas was held at the end of May. I was joined on the faculty by legendary ukulele player Del Rey and chanteuse Victoria Vox. The camp was such a success we were invited back next year!
Also while in Texas, Del was kind enough to sit for a wonderful 3 Questions Interview in which she unlocks the secret to her country finger-picking blues style.
