We hope you are enjoying the start to summer.  We wanted to remind everyone that June is Lipedema Awareness Month and to kick it off we have some exciting things to share with you. 270 Surgeons, doctors, nurses, therapists, patients, friends and family joined us in April for the conference. Watch the speakers here. Conference photos are here. And for a chuckle, check out the photo booth here. If you have any photos from the conference that you want to share, click here and you can upload them!
Uncovered and Unashamed!
Many of our sisters have allowed themselves to be photographed in various stages of lipedema and DD in order to help bring awareness to these debilitating disorders.  With the help of these brave women, fat disorders like these may become more recognizable, not only to the patients, but also to the medical community.
Throughout the month of June we will be showcasing one person's photos daily on our Facebook page; be sure to check them out and please share them on Facebook to help spread the word, and Tweet them using #FDRS2016!
Videos of the Conference
Were you unable to make the April Conference and are wondering what you missed?  Or were you there but didn't get to see everything you wanted?  Well, to kick off Lipedema Awareness Month, we are excited to announce that FDRS is posting all the speakers' presentations on our YouTube Channel.  Then, continuing throughout the month of June we will highlight various speakers and presentations.

Subscribe to our YouTube channel so you don't miss these announcements.
Conference Slides: More "Proof"
You can now view and download every speaker's slide presentation by visiting our Literature Repository by clicking here. Print and bring these to your physicians! On this page you can also view slides from previous events as well as some of the literature FDRS handed out during the conference.
We really hope you enjoy the videos and photos and look forward to another year of greater Lipedema Awareness!

Have a safe and happy Summer!
