Greetings! The success of an organization is dependent on the energy of its leaders and staff. With that in mind we will be introducing you, our valued members, to the Chamber's Board of Directors over the next few emails.

Josh Smith, Vice Chair What about the Lamoille Chamber’s mission and work interested you in committing your time and energy to this non-profit organization? The Chamber is the premiere organization that actively connects private and nonprofit companies of all sizes to each other. Each company has so much knowledge to share and the chamber is a great facilitator of that   Directors use their experience, wisdom and strategic thinking to help guide the Chamber in its mission. What specific assets to you think you bring to the table? I like to share my passion of building community and finding innovative ways to promote the chamber in the age of ‘2-minute new articles’ and dominate social media communications.   What do you hope to accomplish while on the Board? I hope to make sure that Lamoille becomes a destination county. A great place to live and to work.

Matt Volitis, Treasurer Being a relatively new resident to Lamoille County (April 2017), I thought this would be a great way for me to become a part of the community and network in the region. I believe strongly that the Lamoille Chamber can help build a strong sense of community as well as continue to help build a vibrant and diverse economy. For over twenty years I have enjoyed playing in this region and I am now extremely happy to being living and working where I love to play.    I have more than 15 years of experience in recreation management, with programming experience from toddlers to senior citizens. I earned my MBA from Plymouth State University to become a better leader and to broaden my knowledge of finance management/accounting.   My goal is to create a strong community network that helps our friends and neighbors prosper.
