2nd show for tonight's On the Cusp program of dance
at the Talking Stick Festival...

We are so excited to share the news that due to selling out our 'On the Cusp' program 1 we have decided to add a 2nd show tonight so that we can share the amazing evening with you all. Our 7:30pm show is sold out but we still have seats available for our newly added 9:15pm show.

Choreographers that are being featured include Raven Spirit Dance's very own Michelle Olson performing Frost Exploding Trees Moon as well as new work by Artistic Associate Starr Muranko. They will be joined by Rulan Tangen of Dancing Earth (New Mexico) and Margaret Grenier of the Dancers of Damelahamid. Sure to be an amazing evening of powerful dance!

Join us on Friday evening as well for On the Cusp: Program 2 featuring new work by choreographers Daina Ashbee, Waawaate Fobister, Jesse McMann-Sparvier and Brian Solomon! Tickets are also selling fast!

We are also co-hosting a series of artist talks and workshops this weekend during the Talking Stick including an Intro to the DTRC (Dancers Transition Resource Centre), choreographer's panel and Raven Spirit Dance Training sampler on Saturday followed by a Hoop Dancing workshop on Sunday!

Vancouver based Raven Spirit Dance Company was founded in 1999 by Artistic Director Michelle Olson of the Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in First Nation (Yukon) and is committed to the creation, development and production of Contemporary Aboriginal Dance.
