A board-certified emergency medicine physician who has worked in both academic and community settings, Dr. Agrawal is the former deputy administrator for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and director of one of its largest centers, the Center for Program Integrity (CPI). Dr. Agrawal's main focus at CPI was to improve health care value by lowering care costs through the detection and prevention of waste, abuse, and fraud in Medicare and Medicaid. Previously a banker in his native Germany, Dr. Friedrich works with the clinical and administrative leadership at the New York State Department of Health in development of quality measurement and improvement programs. He leads New York's statewide sepsis campaign, public reporting on cardiac services and stroke, office based surgery, antibiotic stewardship, prenatal care and other programs statewide.
Daniel Durand, MD, Vice President of Clinical Strategy, LifeBridge Health
Thomas H. Kloos, MD, President Atlantic ACO, Atlantic Health System
Plenary Titles: A Roadmap for ACO Success and Analytics to Drive Physician Engagement and Quality improvement
Earlier in his career, Dr. Durand served as the first Director of Accountable Care for Johns Hopkins Medicine, was part of the executive leadership team at Health IT start-up Evolent Health (NYSE:EVH), and worked as an Associate with McKinsey & Company out of the Firm's Washington, DC office. Dr. Durand has authored over 100 scientific and medical publications and his writing has appeared in top journals such as The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM). He regularly lectures at national conferences on topics related to medical innovation 

Dr. Kloos is Vice President Atlantic Health System, President Atlantic ACO, and Executive Director of the Atlantic MSO, an organization which supplies management services to both the Atlantic ACO and Optimus Healthcare Partners ACO. He currently is a board member of the National Association of Accountable Care Organizations (NAACOS). He was the past president of Optimus Healthcare Partners ACO and Vista Health System IPA.
