Join IFCO in Demanding Justice for
Eric Garner and Other Victims
of Police Brutality

IFCO/Pastors for Peace mourns the life of another black brother at the hands of NYPD.  Once again the system has failed us.

But we all know that the system was never built to work for us anyway.  That is why IFCO/Pastors for Peace will be joining thousands of mourners this evening in a protest of the grand jury's failure to indict Daniel Pantaleo, the New York City police officer responsible for the chokehold homicide of Eric Garner.

We will be congregating in Foley Square  (Duane St. between Lafayette & Centre Sts.) at 5:30 p.m. to demand Justice for Eric Garner and the thousands who have been victims of police brutality.

Here are some small steps we can take towards healing...

Call New York Congressman Peter King (R), and shame him for thanking the grand jury in Eric Garner death for "doing justice". And for saying that Garner was complicit in his own death because of his health. Call Peter King's Washington office (202-225-7896), or his New York office (516-541-4225) to let him know how odious his remarks are.

Black lives matter!

And let us not forget our other brothers and sisters of color who have died at the hands of police officers and received no justice:

Contact Attorney General Eric Holder

Demand that he bring federal criminal charges against Officer Darren Wilson, the Ferguson police officer who killed unarmed teenager Michael Brown.
