Highlights from 1st-5th Grade Classes this Week:
In our Large Group Opening Lesson in the cafeteria this week, we honored our 2nd graders who just made their First Reconciliation last Saturday. We discussed that because of their good preparation and worthy reception of the Sacrament, we are all blessed!
"The sacraments are seven great streams of grace flowing from the Pierced Heart of Jesus Crucified, to nourish and strengthen our souls..."
Some of our 2nd grade students even came up to the front and spoke from the microphone about their favorite part of going to confession and receiving Reconciliation. They love feeling clean and holy...and many commented on loving to get to light then take home their special candle! Congratulations to them once again!
We then began to prepare for Mass this coming Sunday, February 5th, 2017. Please enjoy these resources at home:
Thanks to all these students for sharing their beautiful works of art this week!
The parking lot continues to be an issue. This week, the safely gate was lifted and caused confusion, which is dangerous to our students. As always, we ask you to please park in a parking spot and walk your students into the building or walk them to the "car free zone" directly in front of the cafeteria doors between the gate and orange cones.
Curbside drop-off is only allowed along the sidewalk in the front of the school, but entry into the building is still through the cafeteria doors. Cars may not pass or create two lanes for the safety of students exiting cars.
Please be patient, and help us to keep all students safe. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation once again!
- K-5 Drop off is in school cafeteria. Pick up for all students is at the classroom.
- Please walk your K-3rd grade child into the building and come back in to pick them up. 4th grade and older may walk in and be dismissed unaccompanied with parental permission.
- 6th graders should be dropped off and picked up in the Youth Room
- Check below for specific details about your child's grade-level class.
