Highlights from 1st-5th Grade Classes this Week:

* Reconciliation for 2nd-6th Grades

Watch the video below as Fr. Michael Schmitz teaches that sin may be personal, but it is NEVER PRIVATE.  There is nothing that is done in the darkness that won't be revealed in the light.

Likewise since we are all one in the Body of Christ, when one person grows in virtue or is strengthened to fight the good fight, the whole body is made stronger.

With that in mind, we went to Reconciliation this week with the understanding that we would be making ourselves stronger for Christ, and that we should ask God to give us the Grace to make the best confession possible, so to be a channel of His Blessings to other souls who need His help!

Going to Confession is an ACT OF VIRTUE!  Wow! That puts it in a different light, doesn't it!?  The main point is that not only is it an honor to be a Baptized Catholic, but it's also a great duty to bring Christ to the world by participating in the Sacramental life of The Church.

*Prepare for Holy Mass this Sunday, the 8th Sunday in Ordinary Time:
  Desk work from the Gospel of Matthew 6: 24-34
