Experience K-State Olathe through food, fun and more
 

K-State Olathe invites you, your friends and family to join us in a day of free food, exhibits and activities designed to entertain and educate all ages. The All-University Open House is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, at the K-State Olathe campus. There will be  hands-on demonstrations, activities, information, food, exhibits and more. Open House is free to attend and no registration is required. 

Food science 'boot camp' offered in July for KC students

This summer, students living in Greater Kansas City can earn academic credit through a food science "boot camp" at Kansas State University Olathe. The courses are available to undergraduate and graduate students at Kansas State University, as well as students at other universities. 

Research capabilities spotlighted

On May 17, Kansas State University is opening its doors to businesses in the Kansas City metro area with the 2017 Research Showcase.  The event is from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at the K-State Olathe campus. It highlights the wide breadth of research expertise, resources and capabilities at the university that are available to public and private partners in Greater Kansas City. The public also is invited to attend.

Faculty profile: Judy Favor
 

Judy Favor, assistant professor of educational leadership, has continuously blended athletics and academics throughout her career as an athlete, coach and educator. More recently, she is exploring how the interplay between these subjects can be used to accurately predict the interactions of a classroom or team, as well as a team's success.

  • Continuing education for veterinarians, March 29 - April 26 -- Veterinarians, veterinary technicians and practice managers can earn continuing education credit through a series of animal health-focused information sessions at K-State Olathe. Upcoming sessions are March 29, April 12 and April 26. Read the abstracts of the sessions and register today.
Around the campus
 

On March 9-10, the Greater Kansas City Chapter of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses made K-State Olathe its destination for the the group's 30th Annual Visions Symposium. Around 150 nurses attended the two-day event to learn about and discuss emerging health care topics and trends, medical technology, patient care and more.
