  Yakutia Airlines to operate weekly summer service between Anchorage, Alaska, and 

Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia

Russian Airline Yakutia AIrlines, headquartered in Yakutsk, Russia, has been approved by US and Russian authorities to operate scheduled passenger and cargo service from Eastern Russia to Alaska. Tickets are now on sale for its planned summer service between Anchorage, Alaska, and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia.
 
The flights, to be operated on a codeshare basis with Vladivostok Air, will run weekly from July 12 to September 13. The 737-700 aircraft that will serve the route are configured with business and economy classes.   
 
Yakutia Air operates its fleet of Boeing 737 and 757 aircraft out of hubs in Yakutsk, Moscow and Krasnodar, in Russia's Black Sea resort area. The airline serves more than 30 cities throughout Russia, Europe and Asia. This summer, in addition to the Alaska-Kamchatka service, the airline is inaugurating nonstop service between Tokyo and Irkutsk, Russia. 
 
WEEKLY SCHEDULE 

The Yakutia Airlines (R3) - Vladivostok Air (XF) summer codeshare service will operate weekly, with departures on Thursdays. The schedule is as follows:

Depart Petropavlovsk: Thursday, 9:30 PM

Arrive Anchorage: Thursday, 5:50 AM

Depart Anchorage: Thursday, 7:30 AM

Arrive Petropavlovsk: Friday, 8:00 AM

 

Flight time: about 4.5 hours

Aircraft type: 737-700

 

The early arrival in Petropavlovsk will allow travelers to make same-day connections to Yakutsk, Khabarovsk and other cities throughout Russia. Learn more about schedules and services on our website.

WHERE TO BUY TICKETS:
The Alaska-Kamchatka tickets are available for sale through all major computer reservations systems - watch for the Vladivostok Air (XF) flight indicator. Tickets are also available through AirRussia.US, and our network of travel agents 

 

A range of promotional fares are available through the AirRussia.US sales network. These include advance purchase fares, discounts for students and for passengers who are connecting to or from Yakutia Airlines and S7 Airlines flights purchased through us. 

 

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE: 

Passengers may check up to two bags free of charge (Economy Class: 23 KG each, Business Class: 32 KG each). In addition, passengers may check one standard travel case containing guns or fishing rods free of charge. Each additional item is subject to excess baggage fees.  One carry-on up to 5 KG in weight is permitted.


VISAS:
