Your Kentucky EMS Education Connection!
KBEMS will be communicating with Emergency Medical Services-Training Educational Institutions and Educators on a quarterly basis  through the KBEMS Education Matters Newsletter.  The newsletter will contain: educational resources, regulatory guidance and clarification on topics related to training, continuing education, certification and licensure, and will be a platform to disseminate national educational guidelines and practices.
Provider Renewal Underway
The Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services is pleased to announce the availability of individual provider renewal applications for those expiring on December 31, 2017. 
  KBEMS Employee Spotlight
Paula Coyle, EMT-P 
KBEMS Inspector/Liaison
Paula Coyle currently serves as Inspector/Liaison for the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services Derby Region.
KBEMS Education Committee
The education committee is a standing committee of the board. The Education Committee shall consist of seven (7) voting members representative of EMS Educators in the state of Kentucky. At least one (1) voting member of the Education Committee shall also be a member of the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services. 
Stop the Bleed Campaign
The Department of Homeland Security website lists Emergency Medical Services as one of the entities for the public to contact about taking a STOP THE BLEED COURSE. The Kentucky Hospital Association is working with the Regional Kentucky Hospital Preparedness Programs (HPP) to find EMS agencies interested in teaching the Stop the Bleed Program.
EMS Agency Renewal Underway

The EMS agency renewal application period begins on June 30, 2017 and closes on December 31, 2017. The renewal application is available in KEMSIS for Service Directors and other designated personnel. 
KBEMS Data Reports
KBEMS has created several reports using the data collected from Kentucky EMS Agencies through The Kentucky State Ambulance Reporting System (KStARS). See what is trending now!
2018-2019 Ambulance Grant Funding Program is accepting applications!
