2016 CMAQ Application Cycle Opened

The Office of Local Programs will be accepting applications for the Kentucky Congestion, Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) program August 1, 2016-September 16, 2016.  The application form and instructions are available here
TARC Becomes 2nd Largest Electric Transit Fleet in the Nation  

Today at Churchill Downs, Transit Authority of River City (TARC) announced the purchase of 6 all new all-electric, zero emissions buses on the Fourth Street corridor. TARC now has 15 all-electric buses in operation making them the 2nd largest electric transit fleet in the country and the largest east of the Mississippi River. 

The buses will run from downtown's Museum Row to Iroquois Park. In addition to fuel savings, TARC is estimated maintenance cost savings of $8,500 per bus per year. 
Louisville Metro's Office of Sustainability Hiring 
Louisville Metro's Office of Sustainability is hiring a project corridinator. A minimum of three years of sustainability-related experience is required. Applications are due August 12, 2016. Click Here for More Information
