BoS CoC Advisory Board Meeting to Approve CoC Scoring
The Balance of State (BoS) Continuum of Care (CoC) Advisory Board will meet Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at 2 p.m. ET, via Gotowebinar. For those who do not have access to a computer or would like to attend in person, the meeting will be held at KHC's U.S. 127 office, 1047 U.S. Hwy 127 South, Frankfort, Kentucky. The Board will discuss/approve the scoring and ranking order of projects for the CoC Competition.

The full KY BoS CoC membership, general public and press are invited to participate, but must register.

HUD Releases FY 2017 Fair Market Rents
On August 26, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) published a notice in the Federal Register announcing the Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 Fair Market Rents (FMRs). FMRs are used to determine payment standards for a number of housing assistance programs, including the Housing Choice Voucher and the Project-Based Section 8 programs. The FMRs can also be found on the HCA Help Desk under the respective programs that utilize FMRs. 
Kentucky CAPER
The draft Kentucky Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER)  is prepared by KHC and the Department for Local Government (DLG) and is submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of Community Planning and Development. The CAPER details how the state utilized block grant funds allocated for federal fiscal year 2015. The  CAPER will be available for public review and comment Saturday, September 10, through Saturday, September 24, 2016. Written comments will be accepted, addressed, and, where applicable, incorporated into the document. A summary of comments will be submitted to HUD.
