Dear Friends,

This week, we begin a journey of learning about and better understanding one of the most consequential and controversial events in our history. The 10-part series THE VIETNAM WAR, a documentary film by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick, includes rarely seen and digitally re-mastered archival footage from sources around the globe, photographs taken by some of the most celebrated photojournalists of the 20th century, evocative home movies, and secret audio recordings from inside the Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon administrations. Immediately following the film, stay tuned to hear personal stories from local Vietnam Veterans living in South Texas.  Watch with us starting on Sunday night at 7PM.

You are also invited to join us at our KLRN studio for a film screening on Wednesday evening where we will share preview excerpts from all 10 episodes. RSVP here for this free public event.

Keep watching,
Arthur
