Who won Tuesday's primaries? There were numerous challengers to the parties' preferred candidates and then a few of the races were just lotteries. We look at what the results tell us about the election in November. 

   

Then, Southern Nevada Water Authority General Manager Pat Mulroy has called the work on Lake Mead's third intake tunnel the most complicated construction project in the country. It claimed its first victim yesterday when 44-year-old Thomas Turner was killed by a stream of grout and rock under high pressure.  What more should be done to ensure the safe completion of the third straw?
